Locks of Love Haircut

I can't believe I went through with it but here is the evidence!

The Perfect Town?

Sometimes I wonder where would be the perfect place to live. Don't get me wrong, I do like Bluefield but sometimes I miss certain things about living in Christiansburg. I miss the fact that we had found a house and church that we really liked and sometimes I REALLY miss things about living in Rome, All the family dinners and the fun times spent just spending time together. Sometimes its hard to know that Lauren and Michael are over at Grandpa and Grandma's house having dinner, talking, and watching movies, and we can't come because we're too far away. I know that we are to "bloom where we're planted" but how do you make the longing for the things you use to enjoy go away?

Boys will be...BOYS!

Just had to write a quick update on all the boys accomplishments. This little 2 year old below who we call James, Bubba, or Bubby is now potty trained! He still wears diapers at naptime and bedtime and has an occasional accident but we now just have one child in diapers full time! We visited a church on Sunday and when we picked him up the nursery worker told us "He said his name is James but to call him Bubba". Brothers having a wrestling match in the snow at at 2 and 3. I am trying not to think about what this will look like in 10 yrs!

Both boys are doing very well in our homeschool Pre-school. They are learning about God as well as memorizing 1 bible verse a week, studying different charactor qualities, how to recognize numbers 1-100, Telling time on the hour, days of the week, geometric shapes, matching, pattern recognition, basic science facts, and Phonics.

They are not perfect by any means but these boys provide more joy and entertainment than any tv screen ever could!

Welcome Joseph Michael Bailey!

Uncle Daniel and Aunt Lindsay along with cousin Isaac admiring our new nephew! Grandma and Grandpa Bradfield with all their Grandbabies. They now have 4 but none of them are Bradfields. Josh... its all up to you!
The Bailey Family
I really enjoyed going to GA this weekend to help my sister with her new baby. It was so different to be helping someone with a baby instead if being the one who had just given birth myself. I got to stay at their house and do all the things Nana and Grandma did for me when Grace was born. I could almost feel evey discomfort Lauren experienced after just having gone through it so recently myself. Joseph is such a peaceful and quiet baby though! He cries alot more quietly than any of our babies have. I had alot of fun being there with them. I so wish that they lived closer!
