Baby Sue is 6!

I can hardly believe our youngest child is 6 years old. It seems like just yesterday that our oldest child was 6 and that we would forever be drowning in diapers, chaos and messes! It seemed like we would never get here. People say one stage of life is never better than another but I can tell you that’s not true! I struggled in so many ways when all of our children were little. Now that they range in age from 14 down to 6 I am enjoying it so much that I sometimes wish I could freeze time!

Yesterday we took Susanna and our whole family to Wildflour to eat and let Susanna pick out her own birthday cake. She chose a chocolate cake with Raspberry filling. It was delicious! Afterwards we took her to Build-A-Bear to pick out a gift. She chose a Bunny and named her "Bun Bun". We were surprised that instead of an outfit she chose a skateboard and rainbow shoes for Bun Bun. It was so much fun! People always say their youngest child is their joy! While all of my children are a joy I think we are all just more intentional about savoring precious and joyful moments with our youngest knowing it will be our last. Susanna is definitely our joy and we all love her so much it hurts!
